No spaces in username please.
Morning everyone.
Can we please ask everyone that creates an account to not use spaces. We though we had an access rule in to dissallow this but it seems that it does not apply to ldap account creation.
The MSN Transport should be functioning tonight at some stage.

A base has been built.
Hi again everyone!
Ok the server has finally been opened back up.
One small problem is that we lost the userdatabase through a series of events. So everyone will need to recreate their logins with this site and re add the people on their roster.
The server will now be backed up weekly and monitored more closely.
We apologies if this causes you guys too much trouble but alot of effort was put in to try and sort this out.
Hope to see everyone back soon and look forward to chatting in the lounge.

Update
Hi everyone again,
Just another update for the night to let everyone know that LDAP is now working in the background and passwords can be changed from the website account area.
Last step is to get captcha working with the account creation. Then we will open the gates to JOA again.

A bit longer...
We have been slaving all evening trying to get the integration between the new site and the jabber database using openldap.
All that needs to be fixed up is the ability for the user to change their password on the website and a few little errors on the accounts page.

Welcome everyone to the new JOA website!
We have had some some issues over the weekend and have have been forced to upgrade our software and website. This is a work in progress and the Jabber service itself will be running tonight.
